Dear:  Participants, Sponsors, Volunteers,

The 2010 Roll for the Cure committee is proud to announce that this year’s event was another great success.  Our official count of cycling participants was two hundred and ten (210) cyclists, and thirty one (31) motorcyclists.

We would like to begin by thanking our business sponsors who helped to make this event happen: AG Custom Sheet Metal, Phil Millender Insurance, New Mexico Screen Art, Triple S Electric, Wallach Concrete, US Cable & McDonald’s.

The following local organizations and businesses contributed  by providing volunteers and services during the event as hydration station sponsors; McVay Drilling, , Hobbs Hispano Chamber, Tactical Security Solutions, American National Insurance, PROS, the Center For Industrial Medicine/Quick Care Clinic, Total Safety, & Plaster John’s.  In addition, goods and services were also provided by: Lea County Septic Tank Service, Q Systems, Frank’s Tool Rental, the Kelly Down Band, & Opportunity House.

The City of Hobbs Engineering Department, Lea County Road Department and Sanitation Department, the Hobbs Police Department, the Lea County Sheriff’s Department, New Mexico Junior College, Gaines County Sheriff’s Department, United Way of Hobbs, The Hobbs News Sun, KPER Radio, and the Old Dogs of NM motorcycle club are all to be thanked for their outstanding effort and contribution to making this a most successful event.

The Administration of Lea Regional Medical Center, the employee volunteers, and the LRMC Relay Team should be recognized for their support and vision of connecting the event to the community and pulling together the partners that helped to create an event that Lea County can be proud of. The Southeast New Mexico Cycling Club and its volunteers/ride marshals deserve a loud and proud thank you for their passion and vision to create a regionally recognized cycling event!

The community of Hobbs, Lea County and the state of New Mexico, Colorado, and Texas came together to support cancer awareness through either their participation, sponsorships of various types, and/or volunteering their time. Without this effort, Roll for the Cure could not have reached this amount of growth and success.  The Roll for the Cure committee once again thanks you for your support.

Sincerely,

Roll For the Cure
Committee.
